PNG or SVG: which stamp file should you use?

PNG is simple and widely supported
PNG works in most office tools and supports transparent backgrounds. It is the practical choice for a stamp that will be placed in a PDF, document or presentation.
SVG stays sharp at every size
SVG stores the stamp as editable vector geometry. Lines and letters remain sharp when the artwork is enlarged for print, engraving or signage.
Keep both when possible
A transparent PNG covers daily use. An SVG gives you a production master that can be resized or edited later without losing detail.
